Table lamp MODEL 597 polished aluminum

Model 597 is a groundbreaking design by the Italian master of design Gianfranco Frattini, which marked the beginning of his work in the field of lighting. First presented in 1961, the lamp captivates with its unusual shape, where subtle humor blends with functionality and elegance.

Characteristic nylon fringes, inspired by the fashion of the 50s and the curtains from Italian bars and grocery stores, gently filter light and create a cozy, atmospheric glow. The cylindrical base conceals six side light sources that emit soft, diffused light around the lamp (360), while an additional bulb directed upwards subtly illuminates the ceiling, reflecting light from the aluminum canopy.

Crafted from polished aluminum, the lamp features refined details and a design that can be easily disassembled for maintenance or recycling. Model 597 is a perfect example of timeless design a lamp with a strong personality that enlivens any space without being over the top.
