This is a one of a kind collectible Rare Roman Oil Lamp Mold, dating to the Late Period of the Empire (5th6th century A.D.). Crafted from gypsum, this surviving mold half is a rare artifact used in the production of clay oil lampsan essential element of Roman domestic life. Its geometric heart and clover motifs suggest a symbolic or romantic purpose.
These molds were often broken after use, making intact examples like this incredibly scarce. It offers a tangible link to the craftsmanship and symbolic language of late antiquity.

Condition: Shows light to moderate wear, minor imperfections possible. A very fine and rare example of Roman artisan tools.
