R7s Lampholder Standard 6A – Grey

Description

This is a standard R7s lampholder, the connector that a separate double-ended linear R7s bulb seats into. It provides the electrical and mechanical contact at each end of the tube; the bulb itself is not supplied and is chosen to suit the application. As a holder it produces no light of its own.

Rated at 250V AC and 6A, the lampholder is intended for indoor wiring within fittings, fixtures and luminaire builds that use R7s linear bulbs. It suits replacement work and custom assemblies where the original holder has failed or where a new fitting is being put together around an R7s source.

The body is finished in grey and uses the standard R7s spring-tensioned contacts that hold the bulb securely at both ends. Connection is made through the integral terminals, and the holder accepts the R7s cap only. The bulb is selected and fitted separately to suit the wattage and tone required.
