The PH 80was originally a table lamp and floor lamp designed as a tribute to Poul Henningsen, one of Denmark’s most famous designers, particularly renowned for his work in lighting. The PH80 was created in 1974, after Henningsen’s death, in honor of what would have been his 80th birthday. The original PH 80is part of Henningsen’s famous “PH series” and follows his desire to de crer te glare-free lighting through a design – multi -lampshade.
