LYYT 705 RTV Silicone Glue for LED Strip Waterproofing

Description

LYYT 705 RTV silicone is a room-temperature-vulcanising adhesive and sealant supplied in a 20g tube for waterproofing LED strip joints, rope light connections and cable terminations. The silicone cures on exposure to moisture in the air, forming a flexible, water-resistant seal around soldered connections and cut ends without requiring heat or pressure.

Used in outdoor LED installations, architectural lighting runs and IP-rated retrofit projects where strip-to-strip joints or strip-to-cable connections need protection from water ingress. The silicone is applied directly to the connection point, then covered with heat-shrink tubing to create a double-layer seal. Once cured (typically 24 hours at room temperature), the silicone remains flexible and resistant to UV degradation, vibration and thermal cycling between -40C and +200C.

The 20g tube includes a precision nozzle tip for controlled application without excess waste.
