Description

The Flux is a ceiling suspension kit from Ideal Lux containing a 2m steel cable, a matt black ceiling plate with a central fixing point, a steel mounting bracket, two hex keys, two wall plugs, two screws and all the hardware needed to suspend pendant lights from standard ceiling joists or concrete. The ceiling plate measures 98mm long by 55mm projection and accepts the threaded steel cable which runs through the kit’s components to support the pendant below.

Designed for pendant lights weighing up to approximately 5kg, the kit suits residential dining rooms, kitchen islands, hallways and commercial spaces where a pendant needs to hang from a ceiling without an existing rose or where the existing ceiling point needs reinforcing. The 2m cable length allows pendants to be hung at various drops depending on ceiling height, with excess cable coiled inside the ceiling void or cut to length during installation.
