Description

This emergency light kit from Ideal Lux provides battery backup for LED modules, maintaining illumination during mains power failure. The kit consists of two components: a battery pack measuring 185mm long and a separate LED driver measuring 166mm long, both housed in cream plastic casings. The battery pack connects to the driver via a push-fit plug, and the driver then connects to the LED module via a proprietary connector with a green indicator light.

Designed for commercial, hospitality and public buildings where emergency lighting is a regulatory requirement, the kit converts a standard LED module into an emergency lighting source without needing a separate dedicated emergency fitting. The battery pack provides sufficient reserve power to keep the LED module lit for the duration required by emergency lighting standards, allowing safe evacuation or continued operation during short power interruptions.
