Description

We stock this transparent 35mm optical lens from the Dip range as a replacement part for selected 10W LED recessed downlights. It is the clear plastic lens that sits over the LED module, shaping and directing the beam while protecting the module from dust and contact. It is not a light fitting on its own, so there is no bulb holder and no integrated LED, and it holds no bulb.

You would fit this lens in place of an original that has been scratched, cracked or lost during redecoration or maintenance, restoring the beam pattern of the downlight it belongs to. It clips or screws into position depending on the housing it is paired with, so it suits models designed to take this lens profile. The transparent finish passes as much light as possible with very little diffusion, keeping the crisp beam edges that a recessed spotlight relies on.
