Its rectangular, boxlike formdistinct from common circular modelsis intended to sit over a recessed fitting with a flat, horizontal flange that presses against the ceiling board to create a seal. A reinforced circular patch on one side contains a multiport gasket with seven precut holes (six around a ring and a central hole) to accept electrical cable entries neatly.

Construction is practical and purposeful: fabric panels are joined with visible stitching at the corners and top edges and the reinforced patch gives a clean, secure cable interface. The flexible make allows the hood to be compressed for insertion through the light fitting’s cutout before expanding into place.
