Description

The Knightsbridge OSPCKIT is a 10A photocell sensor that automatically switches connected lighting on or off based on ambient light levels, rated IP66 for outdoor installation. The polycarbonate housing contains an adjustable lux threshold (10-50 lux) and mounts on walls or posts via a metal bracket with pre-drilled fixing holes. Two cable gland entries at the base of the unit handle input and output wiring.

Designed for outdoor applications where automatic dusk-to-dawn control is needed, the sensor suits street lighting, car park lighting, garden path lighting, security floodlights and bollard runs. The 10A rating handles loads up to 2,300W on incandescent, halogen or HID lighting, or up to 300W on LED installations. The sensor responds to natural daylight changes, switching connected circuits on when ambient light falls below the set threshold and off again at dawn.
